November Fun!

November has been an amazing month...

We just had a great weekend with Andrew Vogel who flew in from the Washington DC area. It is always fun for the whole family for him to come join us.

Fall Frenzy!!!

This is a true indication of what our fall is like...this was game day for the Bears vs. Colts. Barrett made us sit on separate couches according to the team we were cheering for that day!

Peyton caught a pass for a 2-point conversion today and pulled an opponents flag.

Barrett and Grandma Austa at her Dr's. appointment in Omaha, NE! All is well and she is in good health!

The family and Angie Young, a great friend, supported me all along the 13 miles. Seeing them and hearing their cheers kept me going the entire course! This is a picture of the family supporting me at the end of the 1/2 marathon! I think I am leaning on the boys more than they are on me at this point! I did it!

Jeff is busy with football. A tough loss yesterday to Wheaton. We had the tailgating events going, which have become for the kids a tradition that they talk about frequently during the week.

Apple Picking!

Jeff had a bye weekend and so we were able to do a family getaway for a night in Chicago. Now there was a high school football game Friday that Barrett and Jeff took in, while Ellie, Peyton and I stayed at the hotel. We had a great evening of swimming, ordering in pizza, and watching Pirates of the Caribbean for the 10th time. :)
Saturday was a wonderful family day! We found an amazing apple orchard in Harvard, IL. Jeff made the most of the day, even though his thoughts were with the CUBS! Didn't they have a big game of something???? :) For the record, Jeff did try to get tickets, but was not able to get 5 tickets. I told him he could take the boys to the game and Ellie and I would gladly go shopping! I think that made him a bit nervous. Wonder why????

Peyton's Flag Footbal

Peyton began his Flag Football season yesterday. I thought the pastor might stop church yesterday to tell Peyton to calm down, he was SOOOO excited! His team did great; Peyton caught the ball for a two point conversion and ran for a touchdown. If my football lingo isn't correct you now know that me (steph) is writing this...
I will have pictures next week. Barrett was my photographer yesterday and well...:)

Ellie and the Stingrays!

Ellie began a new endeavor with the Stingrays, a Pleasant Valley Swim Club. She will be swimming 3 times a week. We are so excited for her because she is so excited! We told her swimming twice a week was plenty, but she wants to go 3.

Welcome to the Lindmark Family Blog

Ellie's Sunday School teacher introduced us to this great website...we were inspired to create our own family blog in hopes to stay in close contact with all of you.
We had rain all weekend, but the Steph, Ellie, Peyton, and Barrett still made a tailgating showing at the Augustana Football game Saturday night. Augie won 30-0. The kids would not have dreamt of missing the game~rain or shine!

This is a picture of the three kids on Barrett's first day of pre-school. Ellie is in third grade, Peyton is in second, and Barrett is in a 4 year old pre-school class. All 3 of them are enjoying each day of learning and socializing!
